Here we are with the Bursa Club at the small seaside village of Trilive, also known as Olive Yard. Living up to its name, we observed lots of olives of several varieties in baskets and jars for sale. The village was an important religious center in Byzantine times. Its fortunes fell with the 1923 population exchange between Turkey and Greece.
The Fatih Mosque was a Greek Orthodox church that dates from 780 AD.
