Visiting the Dali Museum in St. Pete

It's summer and hot in Punta Gorda; therefore,  it was a great time to visit the fabulous Dali Museum in St Pete.
Can you see Lincoln?

Saturday proved to be a great day to visit.  The roads were practically empty as we whisked up I 75 in record time.  We got there just in time for the docent tour which was extremely well done and informative.  What makes this museum so special besides Dali's genius works of art are the new "augmented reality" experiences which allow you to actually be part of the art work!  Really cool.  You've got to see it!

After a lovely lunch in the museum's cafe, we continued on to Goya Exhibit and to see some of the other things we missed.  Truly a lovely time.  Check out our garden pictures.
