| Lickity Split at the IYC Blessing of the Fleet |
After 33 years of boating, we sold our lovely Lickity Split! It is bitter sweet for us. I, Joanne, am always happiest on a boat, but it is time to turn in the keys. Mostly, it is Richard's decision. At 78, he is done with keeping up the maintenance - and we feel like we need to operate it safely - hard to do with both of us having arthritic knees! We have had so many years of great adventures on the water and wonderful memories with our dear boat clubs, the PGIslanders and Isles Yacht Club. We are feeling fortunate, but sad it's over...
