Super Moon Over Pelican Bay |
PG Islanders marveled at the largest supermoon of the year
rising over Pelican Bay Tuesday evening, April 7th. The cruised was unannounced
on the website to avoid spreading the Coronavirus via the Internet. Rather FPES
transceivers*
provided communication as Islanders made their way to
Pelican Bay one by one without a cruise leader to keep order. The commodore's
Impulse anchored near Lickity Split and among the thirty plus boats riding
easily on the Bay's clear water. Islanders maintained social distancing as they
visited each other via dinghy or kyak. Islander vessels participating in this
lovely cruise: Sea Tryst, Catherine Marie, North Star, Impulse, Kai Lani and
Lickity Split.
