Christmas in Punta Gorda

Family and friends

found their way to Punta Gorda
to help us celebrate the holidays in

fine style!

Some of the highlights were . . .

  • The lighting of the fleet at the Isles Yacht Club when at the stroke of 6 PM all the boats lit up at once creating a rainbow of colors – what a magical time!

  • Michele missed her plane connection in Houston, but never fear, she made it into Fort Myers Airport with her boyfriend, Bryan, whom we got to know and enjoy during their visit.

        • My sister, Claire, and her husband, Howard, and their son, Zach, who drove to the Portland, OR Airport with chains on their car tires to escape a freak snowstorm.

        • My sister, Mary, and her husband, Al, and their daughter, Holly, who got out of frigid arctic air in Indiana with late flights, but made it here nonetheless .

        • My cousin, Bill, who drove up from Naples to reconnect with the family.

        • Our dear friends, Barry and Barb, who visited us on their way back from Disneyland.

        • Other wonderful friends, Doug and Cheryl, who visited us for a week after the holidays
          Here are some memorable pictures...
