August 25th - After Sunday Mass, we drove rain, sometimes heavy to downtown Sarasota. After parking for free in the Palm Avenue Garage, we ate our homemade sandwiches with chips before walking around the block to Florida Studio Theatre's small venue Goldstein Cabaret. Although our seats did not include a table we were close to the stage with a great view of the performers. The Band Called Honalee played our kind of music - folk from the 60s featuring songs by Peter, Paul and Mary with a few more Bob Dylan, Mamas & the Papas, and Joni Mitchell. The audience sang along on the closing number, This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land by Woody Guthrie. We really really enjoyed the music performed by very talented musicians.
