It's been a C O L D winter up north and we've had our share of visitors! We were delighted when my Aunt Gloria traveled from Pittsburgh with Cousin Dave. Upon arriving at Tampa Airport Cousin Jake swooped my Mom up in New Port Richey and drove them all down. We had a fun family dinner and reminisced about old times! Our dear friends, Beverly & Tom, were also visiting from League City in their DELUXE RV that they parked in a nearby resort. We all decided to tour Babcock Ranch, a neat local attraction, on preserved land not far from here. We saw official "Cracker Cows" along with other wildlife. Check out our "Pictures" below by double clicking on them! We've also added info on the Babcock Ranch Tour and History. Pretty neat, eh?
We love boating. So far, we've owned 3 sailboats, two called Eagle's Wings, and a beautiful Mainship Trawler called Indigo Star. Currently, we have a small power boat, a Jeanneau 28 ft, called Lickity Split. We've sailed the Texas and Florida coastlines including the Keys and the Bahamas. Also, we've chartered boats in Polynesia (Tahiti area), Belize, Croatia, Midi Canal in France, Bahamas and Virgin Islands.
We also enjoy traveling to other countries, sometimes with the Friendship Force.
We retired to Punta Gorda Isles Florida and in 2008 started this blog about our life here. Read all about our great Retirement Adventures. Enjoy!
